Pete Seeger Sing-along

Just wanted to let members know that I am organising a benefit SINGALONG of Pete Seeger's songs, centred on audience participation (inspired by recent celebration of Pete's 90th birthday).

The singalong will benefit Community Music Victoria Vic Sings, a program which trains singing leaders for community singing groups all around Victoria and the New International Bookshop which is in Trades Hall Basement.

The concert will feature Margaret Roadknight, Fay White Jane Coker, Lyndal Chambers and Ernie Gruner to lead the audience in some great songs such as

• If I had a hammer
• Where have all the flowers gone,
• Little boxes
• Goodnight Irene
• This land is your land - with Aussie words and more

It will be a fun afternoon event.
