Myra McRae Band a knockout!
It seamed like half of Geelong had turned out last night at Murphy's to see the newly formed Myra McRae Band perform at the September Live & Local. With crowd numbers rivalling the reformation of Loch Ard back in 2007, Irish Murphy's front bar was packed to the rafters... and they were not disapointed! Joining Myra and Ade on stage were superhuman fiddler Matiss Schubert and Geelong superstar Sandy Brady on bass. Together they blazed through 40mins of fantastic material featuring tunes and songs from Scotland & Ireland and kept the huge audience glued to their spots for the whole bracket. Congratulations to all on a great show and good luck with Maldon in November.

Adam, Mark, Paula and the Folk Club,
Thank you for providing this opportunity for me to launch
the band, it was a brilliant gig and the audience reaction
was fantastic....Dinnae ken...We'll be back!
Myra, Ade, Matiss & Sandy

I'll order a copy of the CD so that I can hear your music.
Just in the middle of writing your Christmas card and I thought I would google "Myra McRae Band"

Well done and I hope you get this message.

I just saw Myra and the band two days ago on Stage 5 at Port Fairy. Absolutely wonderful. I bought the CD which is brilliant. During a brief chat with Myra after the show we established that we could well be related had we both been born in Inverness, Scotland about a 160 years ago. Best wishes. Allan McRae, Melbourne

Hello Myra, Through working in the same building as you many yars ago - that's where I know you. A lovely lass you are. Anyway, saw your band perform at the Potatoe shed a short while ago and purchased your CD "As I Roved Out" there and absolutely adore it. I was wanting to buy another copy. Where can I do this? All the best to you and your loved ones. Cheers, Fred
