Concert for the Clans

The Potato Shed, Bellarine Multi Arts Centre, Drysdale, Saturday 10th October 2009

The Potato Shed at the Bellarine Multi Arts Centre in Drysdale will ring to the strains of pipes, fiddles and songs at 'Concert for the Clans' on Saturday 10th October 8pm.

Individual performances and a finale will include accomplished piper Geoff Jones, young 4 piece group Rant - recipients of the Lake School of Celtic Music's Young Celtic Band Award for 2008. Acclaimed fiddle player Pria Schwall - Kearney performing with talented instrumentalist Greg Fair (USA) as Pigeonwing Strings. Emerging Scottish/Australian artist Myra McRae who will be joined by fiddler Matiss Schubert, Ade Kelly guitars and bassist Sandy Brady. Fine Scottish fiddlers Colin McLeod and Andrew Cooper will perform with Scottish balladeer Jamie McKinnon who will also host the show.
