Chandra have been inspiring audiences in Central Victoria with their unique blend of magical harmonies and versatile instrumental styles. The three female family band members formed after having years of magical evenings of jamming with guitar's, violin's & flute's! Jill Meehan and daughter Michelle Meehan and Jill's sister Joy Lamprell, have been performing together all their lives. A wonderful family blend of spiritual celtic/folk/jazz/blues influences. Jill Meehan describes the band as: "We love the kinship of women, performing at Wineries Restaurants and Festivals, sharing our songs with other people! Our current band name 'Chandra' -meaning 'goddess of the moon' invokes a sense of the feminine energy & vibe that we produce when we sing and play together! Get along in November to hear this fabulous trio

The Sanchez String Band-an eclectic mix of music somewhere between Django and Bill Munroe consists of three virtuoso musicians-Damien Neil, Ben Gibbons and Matiss Schubert. Damien is a Singer/Songwriter instrumentalist. His playing is weaved from a rich tapestry of many styles including Jazz, Blues and Folk. Some of his many influences include Chet Atkins, Leo Kottke, Danny Gatton and the wonderful Tommy Emmanuel. Damien has played in many lineups including The Ned Kelly Show and Mighty Servant and is currently playing in Colonel Vipers Whipstick Band. Ben has a musical pedigree which includes The Waifs, Facebook and Farmville. In fact Ben was farming when a lonely Brown Cow wandered onto their farm in FarmVille. She felt very sad and needed a new home. Matiss of course needs no introduction to GFMC members expect a little more jazz than usual.
