GFMC 2008 Christmas Party & Open-Mic
Thanks to everyone who made it down to the Open-Mic Christmas Party. Thanks also to all the performers who played. It was a great night. The committee is going on a well earned break now until February but be assured we'll be back in the New Year!

It seamed like half of Geelong had turned out last night at Murphy's to see the newly formed Myra McRae Band perform at the September Live & Local. Beatles singalong a monster success!
A huge thanks to all involved in making the Beatles singalong at Murphy's a huge success! With an almost full house the room was packed with singing, humming, whistling, foot tapping and dancing punters letting their hair down to some of the last decades greatest pop hits!
A huge thankyou to Paula for making it all happen, without her vision and commitment to community music in Geelong this sensational event just wouldn't have happened. Paula, you're a gem!

Coming up in September we've got a stack of talent lined up and heading your way. Featured acts this month are The Myra McRae Band (pictured right), Tom Bolton & Richard Grace all the way from Melbourne town and the show-stopping Peppercorn Rent direct from their acclaimed reviews at last months Beatles Singalong.
